That center pillow is really cute, where??
I know that not everyone follows Feng Shui, but on those terms this is about as bad as it could possibly be: mismatched objects and obliquely hung mirrors above the head of a bed! Not to mention being extremely dangerous anywhere near seismic activity zones unless those puppies are bolted to studs. This doesn't look like something Vicente Wolf would endorse at all, despite the inspirational quote.
I always have just a little too much "persona."
No, this is not okay and it has nothing to do with feng shui. Other than the fact that it doesn't follow the angle of the ceiling and it's way too symmetrical over the bed, and therefore out of proportion, it looks sloppy. The pillows are killer, but the collection needs to be edited. Take 3-4 of the cool looking 'profile' plates and line them up vertically and evenly spaced. Ah, much better :)
As an add-on to my last comment....take that beautiful yellow in the center pillow and paint the wall with it...that neutral isn't doing any favors. Rethink the bedspread as well...less inky black more cream.
my first thought on the wall was it reminded me of kara walker's art.
I like it. I still don't really understand feng shei. Doggie's cute.
