Allie_P I agree!! Have been looking for a hamper for our babies room and anything half stylish that doesn't scream 'ugly laundry hamper' is soooo expensive for what it is.... why?
The cost can sometimes be worth it for a frequently used item. I sprung for a beautiful rattan hamper with a hinged lid many years ago and it was totally worth the cost. It's an item that I use all the time, every day, and it's brought me a lot of simple pleasure and convenience. A high quality, durable hamper is something you'll have around for years and years, like a good cooking knife or a tea kettle.
