In an attempt to compete with Amazon, Google launched same-day delivery service in San Francisco yesterday. The web giant is partnering with retailers like Toys R Us, Office Depot, and Target to court small to mid-sized businesses and families with kids. The service is free for 6 months, but will be fee-based after that.
