We've all (or most of us) have used google maps at one point or another. An extremely helpful and visually pleasing function of google map is their icons. Each icon pinpoints a location on the map so you know where it is. What if those icons were real, and we could see them while driving by.
That's what artist Alejo Malia thought of while he was creating the "Google's World" series. Each drawing features an icon from google maps that appear to be real structures in the world. Some are floating in the air, while others appear to be just like the buildings surrounding them.
We think we want to live in this unique world with giant floating structures indicating buildings and locations.
