Not one to skirt the issue of the environment, Christiane Högner reuses this one to create a flirty lampshade. It's part of a green show opening today in Belgium.

There's also a man's shirt transformed into a pillow, chipped china filled in with gold, and a lamp shade created from a book—pics after the jump!

The Gr3en Design exhibition features Finnish, Belgian and Dutch designers and companies that use recycled materials in innovative ways. It's free and at Pierre Bergé & Associés in Brussels, Belgium until September 30th, 2008. Afterwards, it's traveling to Studio Hergebruik in Rotterdam, The Netherlands from October 11 till November 15.

Boeklampen: a different take on all the bookish projects we've been seeing.
