Dear Curees, thanks so much for joining me this fall as I repeated myself and the crazy videos I made last year. I wished that I had been able to escort you more or to replace some of the videos with new ones. I wanted to. Tremendous upheaval in my life at home made it impossible for me to do anything more, but I hope to come back with more next time. It is important to me, and I am super proud that the Cure has been helpful to all of you in any way. See you in 2012!
Today's Post
Today we feature those few brave soles who submitted "after" photos in our Fall Cure season. It shares wrap up comments and those graduates who sent themselves in for consideration. There are only five of them, but they are fabulous and I hope that they pave the way for more to send in a photo in the future. Enjoy and see you in 2012!

Hi Maxwell,
I just want to say thank you for this 20/20 Cure. I find that it's so much easier to get rid of things that have weighed down my teeny home. I learned that it doesn't have to take hours to purge.
A couple of days ago I took on my vanity. I got rid of jewelry that I haven't used and no longer have an affinity for. Maxwell, this was an "Aha!" moment. I CAN be organized. I CAN have a place for everything. My vanity now looks like something I have admired in the homes of others. Now I feel I just need to put some pictures on the wall.
I wish I had taken a "before" picture. Anyway, thank you again. I love your videos and seeing your personality. Thanks for taking us into your home.
xx,
Etirsa

My house has been revamped and cleared - yay for the LR... thanks! Couldn't take a pic of myself in the space but oh well...
• Any feedback for us?
Sure enjoyed this, even second time around. Can't wait to see the homes and people who have smiled online at these fun 20 challenges!

Anything you'd like to say about the picture?
Thanks for the motivation and inspiration to get the random pile of things to go to others organised. This is just a small part of what we achieved.
Any feedback for us?
Love it! Loved it! Loved it! The vids seemed to get sillier and sillier, but that really helped me keep up the work.

Anything you'd like to say about the picture?
This is as close as I could get to getting me in a picture with an area I had worked on since I was taking the pic myself! I had cleaned out a lot of excess from my medicine cabinet a while back, but it was good to get in and do it again, plus I actually wiped down the inside shelves which I had not done in a very, very long time!
Any feedback for us?
This was my first time doing the Cure and I loved it. Actually, just a week before I had vowed to get myself on a cleaning schedule -- certain tasks for 20-30 min. a day. So when I stumbled upon the Cure it was just perfect. I did my schedule plus the Cure. There were a few days in the Cure I didn't do, but I always loved watching the videos and getting a boost to my efforts. I loved that you were simple, realistic, and green. I am one of those folks that loves flowers but has issues with buying them (sustainability and money mostly -- especially living in Montana where flowers must travel really far to get to!). But Maxwell's chat about it being an offering, like in a temple, really got to me. I spent a number of years living in an Ashram and have missed the sense of offering and sacredness I always had there and find hard to be regular with that practice myself. So I did buy flowers one week, but it also spurred me to do some re-potting of indoor plants that I had been putting off and just to get me thinking in terms of making offerings to my home and I love the idea of branches (though ours are now covered with snow!). One other way to make an offering is through burning incense -- it is an offering on the scent level! Thanks so much for the Cure, I can't wait till the next one!

This Gerbera's Bouquet brought the colours of spring into my living room.

Always very inspiring! Thanks.

Fun cure, as always! "Tremendous upheaval," sound slightly ominous. Hope all's well...Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey Maxwell. Hope all's ok on the homefront!! We loved your videos whether they were recycled or not!
"Tremendous upheaval"? Please tell me you mean the chaos surrounding getting a new bed every month and not anything serious.
Hoping all is ok. You have me so worried I went from lurker to commenter!
There are many AT readers hoping that the new year will be a good one for you. You make a difference for the better. Hang in there despite whatever life is hitting you with, Maxwell.
You're an enjoyable and lovely man!..that we relate to in a 'normal and daily life' way!..You make a difference! As you see, we all enjoy and appreciate all your videos and if they are 'repeats' all the better for reinforcement! : )..
Oh..and so nice to see these 'cures'..the vanity looks great and very neat and 'user friendly'...happy little vase of colorful flowers are so perky and the others so neat and clutter free!
Hi ! I'm somehow feeling guilty for not submitting a photo, since I loved the cure so much.
I'm a total paranoiac when it comes to sharing on the internet. I don't have a Facebook page, I don't put photos on the web, and I feel happy that way.
The thing is, if everybody felt the way I do, we wouldn't have sites like AT where the idea is to share with strangers. I'm aware of my own paradoxes, but somehow, uploading a photo is a totally different thing from leaving a comment, and I can't seem to be able to hit the "send" button.
Anyway, I loved this cure as much as the last one, and I hope you'll keep it as long as possible. I'm starting it again today with a focus on the holidays (instead of buying flowers, I have "buy and set up tree", that sort of things), and I'll be doing the full extended cure in January.
Hey Maxwell do you ever think about the ipod you gave away?
Hoping things are starting to settle for all of you.
Said with much empathy, and wishing for good outcomes for all the cast of players.
There has been a disturbance in the Force.
We need you back.
Some of us really needed and really missed a full-on cure.
I know there is reaction to it reaching all the way to Thanksgiving.
Some of us are practically begging for the community Cure.
