Name: Graham (5 months)
Location: Albion, MI
Color Inspiration: Early in the nursery-planning process, I found a yellow and grey Dwell studio pillow at Target. That, combined with a plaid throw, was a jumping off point for the main colors in the space. When we found out we were having a boy, I decided we needed some blue, but I wanted to stay away from pastels, so we used teal. Then I headed to Spoonflower and designed the fabrics I envisioned for the room.
Tip for Using Color: Our space has a lot of different colors, but we kept it from looking too busy by balancing them within the room. The green bookcase and switch plate pick up on the green of the pouf. The teal dog pillows tie in with the teal chevron bed skirt. No color is represented in the room just once, so nothing looks accidental.
Colors Used: Grey, yellow, teal, red, orange, magenta, green, white
