We're trying to get a hard start on Easter and springtime projects. It's the season for eggs and grass but if you want to combine the two in a special way this year, check out these grassy eggs.
We saw these over at Fly Through Our Window and are tempted to give it a try. You'll need eggs shells, carefully cracked, potting soil, grass seed and water. The grass takes about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to grow so plan accordingly. For step by step instructions, check out Fly Through Our Window.

Cool! I just picked up some pine cones for making bird feeders and this will go along great as another project. Thanks!
These grassy eggs would be even more adorable set in one of those ceramic egg holders or an egg cup. I am buying grass seed right now! Too cute.
