Name: Grayson (4) and Ava (1)
Location: Alabama
Color Inspiration: Inspired by the sea, summer, and shared spaces of Pottery Barn, I wanted the room to feel bright, yet colorful. I saw a lot of blue, green, white, and natural textures, and I'm definitely pleased with the results.
Tip for Using Color: While I wanted the room bright and colorful, I maintained lightness and an airy feel by adding beadboard, skylights, and a white-washed floor. Adding the other brights (pink, green, and yellow) in small pops in the rug, storage, and art, tempered all that color. It's light, bright, airy AND colorful.
Colors Used: There are many colors in the room, yet the palette mostly consists of white, Valspar's Sea Breath (a beautiful wash of aqua), with natural and metallic accents.
Thanks for your colorful entry Shaunna and good luck!
