i just bought the fireglow duvet on sale at Anthro. I'd been jonesing for charcoal bedding. I wasn't completly in love with the duvet, but now our courtship is full on love. I am 100% for the grey bedroom.
The bedding in the first shot looks so cozy! The duvet in the last shot looks a bit outrageous, but cool. We have a grey Angela Adams duvet on our bed, which is awesome! It's a really soft, silky cotton with a subtle pattern:

I have a Malou grey/black duvet and find it comfortable and at $25 in a pleasantly low price range. Since my blanket is more on the square side, I tend to have the contrasting colour rotated 90 degrees from where they are showing it here.
for those looking for a comforter instead of a dubet, I just bought this comforter set from target. http://www.target.com/Home-Paisley-Comforter-Set-Gray/dp/B002KCWWOI/ref=br_1_7?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=14125281&node=14125281&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=2&searchSize=30&id=Home%20Paisley%20Comforter%20Set%20Gray
great quality for a great price!
I wouldn't go for gray myself, but I love how elegant and masculine that pinstriped set in the photo looks. I don't like the bed frame it is on, however; an antique girly bed really doesn't work with those sheets.
I sleep on bedding nearly identical to that but it was from Muji and luckily for me a fraction of the cost. It's lovely and soft and classy and I love it! I wish they hadn't discontinued it.
I actually prefer to have gray as a base color for the bedroom and not the other way around, for the accessories. That way my accessories can be really bold and make a statement.
