Q: When I moved into my apartment, my landlord had a Panera restaurant color scheme going on - red walls in the dining area and tan/yellow-brown walls in the living room. I'm into grays right now so I painted over the red walls with a medium gray color (Behr's Porpoise, tweaked) thinking it would go well with the yellowish wall. While the result is not that bad, I think there's a better shade of gray for the space.
Can anyone recommend a gray paint that would also go well with the yellow-brown walls in the living area. Better yet, is there a way I can make the current color work by accessorizing differently since the dining area is still pretty bare. Or is gray really not the best choice of color here?
