Name: Gray (4 months)
Location: Cambridge, MA
Color Inspiration: When I found out that I was having another boy I just knew I had to find a way to incorporate my favorite color navy into the room. I started with the accent wall and things really took off from there. I love mixing patterns in neutral tones, like the brown and navy, and then using the accents to really brighten up the room. The yellow stripes are my absolute favorite part of the room, and were a last minute addition after falling in love with a print that used this scheme.
Tip for Using Color: Don't be afraid. People thought I was a little nuts for using such dark colors in a baby's room, but I knew that if I kept it simple and clean, and added fun pops of "kid" centered colors, that this would be a room perfect not only for a baby, but also for the little man he will soon become.
Colors Used: Benjamin Moore's Timid White and Sunflower.
Thanks for your colorful entry Robin and good luck!

*sigh* I wish our ceilings were high enough to paint. As they are it would probably look silly.
Where'd the cute giraffe on the top shelf come from?
Where is your crib from? Very classic!
I'd love to know where the giraffe print came from!
love the giraffe!! where is it from???
Hey Everyone!
The crib is potterybarn kids, as is the dresser, both Kendall collection.
The small giraffe is from a local store, Hudson in Boston. It's a wood piggy bank. Very affordable, I think under 20 dollars. I give them as gifts!!!
The print is from the etsy artist shop WalkingToJericho. It actually a photograph that is 40 x 40 framed in a plexiglass poster frame (in case little hands get grabby.)
So happy you like the room!!!
where is you crib skirt from? love the color combos in your room. well done!
The skirt is from Serena and Lily. It's from their adult bedding collection and I had it made into a crib skirt and changing table cover by the company.
Those giraffe banks are available at babies r us. They have a few different ones
