Not long after we moved into our new abode, we took a friend with us to Gray's Paint while we picked up some more paint. When we left, she said that she was surprised that the employees were so friendly and helpful. It turns out that another paint store on the Peninsula always treats her in a condescending manner and even tries to steer her away from the more eco-friendly paints. We've been going to Gray's for several years and are used to their amazing selection and great service, so it was interesting to hear her reaction.
Gray's carries Benjamin Moore, Fine Paints of Europe, Pratt & Lambert, Ralph Lauren, and other brands.
Our only complaint with Gray's? They're closed on Sundays.

What kinda dumb salesperson would steer clients away from ecp-friendly paints - they generally cost more so the store can get a nicer markup!
As far as being closed on Sundays - I believe folks in retail need a day off to be with their families/friends too.
Hear hear, for stores that close one day/week.
I agree that we should dial back our 24/7 expectations, especially of local businesses.
