Blogger Scribbler loves children's books, especially vintage ones. You might even say she's obsessed with them (in fact, she admits she's obsessed with them). She picks them up at thrift shops, garage sales, online or wherever she may stumble upon them. Best of all, she writes about them - one a day - on her blog, Vintage Kids' Books My Kid Loves, so we can all enjoy them.
Each day she gives a synopsis and brief review of a book - not a formal review, but a personal one: how the book makes her feel or how her son liked the book. Some of the books date back fifty or more years, others may be from the eighties. Many are classics, others are obscure or forgotten gems. We've really enjoyed reading her blog and discovering (and in many cases re-discovering) all these books and it's made us want to track down quite a few to enjoy fully.
Thanks for your dedication and passion, Scribbler! Take me to her blog you say? Here you go!
p.s. She's started giving away a book to a reader each week, "The Great Monday Give" so check that out, too.
