"You can't have everything. Where would you put it?" -- Steven Wright
In the spirit of healthy living and organization, we refer back to the comedian Steven Wright. One of our favorites, his humor often stems from hyperbolically obvious logic! And he isn't wrong, where would you put it all if you had it!?
We've done quite a bit of decluttering this new year, and made many trips to drop off our usable discards. There are not many feelings more satisfying and calm-inducing than knowing that you only have what you need and love stored in your home.
We allow ourselves some storage of "things," but have left the boxes in our closet to just what we really love. Keepsakes and artwork that didn't make the current rotation have a space, as well as some extra art supplies that we really do use fairly regularly. But taking the leap and getting rid of the space consuming "stuff" that we, honestly, couldn't even recall in a list, has given us a refreshing feeling of weightlessness.
