On the back pages of February's Domino, Pottery Barn Bed and Bath catalog art director Philippine Scali reveals "10 things that make [her] happy." One of them: Italian glass bottles to rival the disposable plastic bottle madness.
With a design that takes touching to know it's not the typical plastic you see every day, these Seletti glass bottles come in four subtley different designs. While we agree that the contemporary twist on a water pitcher would be nice for serving, you'll need to find something else to serve as your to-go bottle.
Each bottle is $38.

hmmm... just as unattractive as glass bottles and how do you wash them out?
Substitute "purchasing useless articles madness," then, for the plastic bottle madness. Plain stupid.
I'm glad that it makes her happy, but I'm with the other commenters; I don't get it.
I have one that I got as I gift, and I love it. It has a rubber topper, which I'm not sure those in the picture do. It's not leakproof, but I take it with me when driving and at work...it's plenty useful, and much more pleasant to drink out of than any plastic or metal bottle.
I think they would be cool to use if you fill them up with orange juice and use them to serve company that you have over for brunch. But I am a sucker for crap like this
Water in a heavy glass container sounds like a nice work out( especially for biceps and triceps) gear.
