Today was one of those warmer winter days in New York when the snow started melting and just beneath the gray slush puddles it seemed like something springlike could be sprouting.
When those first signs of green start popping up in the spring, they're not so overpoweringly vibrant that you necessarily notice them. The greens in these rooms act in sort of the same way. They balance out the deeper colors and bold contrasts happening around them. Enjoy the inspiration and start looking for signs of change outside your window. They're coming, soon enough.

Are you sure that kitchen is from La Dolce Vita? It looks awfully similar to the kitchen designed by Ruthie Sommers for the Flower Films offices.
Oh I get it! La Dolce Vita blog, not the design firm.
From what I recall, the first one is Drew Barrymore's and was in Domino.
I love the first pic but am a bit mystified as to where the range/oven is? If it's on the other side of the room it is VERY far from the fridge...not exactly well planned design or practical for a cook.
I don't think there is one. It's a workplace kitchen for Drew Barrymore.
I absolutely LOVE the color of the kitchen wall in the first picture. Does anybody know the name of that paint color?
second on the second living room!
who makes that wonderful olive green curvy chair?
it's AMAZING
Maybe it's my computer, but so much of this doesn't look like there's, well, green in it.
great roundup
Love green as a neutral!
i love the kitchen! and yes, it's just an "office kitchen". I love the green on the walls, the dark blue cabinets, and the black & white floor! Does anyone know if those floor tiles are lineoleum or what?
green is one of my favorite colors to use in decorating.
I'm happy other people think green is a neutral...!
