Here at Re-nest, we're big on sharing. So it should come as no surprise that we'd be excited about any type of resource that makes lending and borrowing things easier...
That's what NeighborGoods is all about. Created by Micki Krimmel (who worked on the social media campaign for An Inconvenient Truth), NeighborGoods is an online service that helps people share things with others in their neighborhood.
The service, which is currently only available in Los Angeles, uses mapping and social networking functions to make sharing easier and to make users more accountable. Krimmel describes NeighborGoods as a "safer, friendlier Craigslist."
