Sacramento-based designers Tim and Linda Arbogast -- they helped Bridget with her lovely Sacramento Cottage -- recently decorated a home that was on the Sacred Heart Home Tour. They decided to "go green," which meant recycling, re-purposing, and re-doing. The result? Charming.

Nomade Express Slee...
WOW! This is gorgeous! I love the little Christmas trees and the paperwhites (is that one word?).
What a beautiful space! The frame around the TV is amazing too!
Fantastic.
So pretty!
although some of the ideas are nice, why are there so many of each thing? it kinda reminds me of a department store.
i don't think 'charming' is quite the right word for this. maybe, 'redundant'?
gah. I have to agree that if it's not a department store, there are far too many of each thing. It looks so cluttered! ONE ceramic owl, or ONE adorable Christmas tree, or ONE pot of gorgeous paperwhites, would be lovely. All together, it gives me the tchotke-heebie-jeebies.
Decorations look cool. I like them.
Any info on that couch? It looks so comfy.
With all due respect, the room with the cameo silhouettes is ghastly--the opposite of chic. I second the "gah".
For the most part, this is cute... but I am blown away by the fear of color. The holidays are supposed to be full of "cheer." A little green or even some deep shade of purple would have given the room some spirit and made the natural elements shine.
obviously they like what they like! i imagine it's the only time of year they get to display these collections, so why not?
i think the acorn ornaments are the least overwhelming as a collection - the trees are okay, too - but it's the owls! they freak me out just a little bit ;) hehe
i love the paperwhites, but i would have spread things out a bit more. instead of grouping so obviously, i would have made little areas that get a little bit of each collection.
Too much of a good thing.
What's green about this?
the gold frame around their flat screen is so awesome....can we get a tutorial?
I think there is a company that makes those frames for tvs, if you really want to go that route...
This home tour is the type that assigns a home to a designer.
Each home is usually over the top. It's in a neighborhood of high affluence, home to such notables as Ronald Reagan when he was governor.
This is gorgeous! Even though it is all white, it is still warm and inviting.
I LOVE the birch logs.
