Writing for unplggd usually involves a really warm laptop sitting on top of my legs. Rather than accept the heat produced by laptops as wasted energy, Cheong Yian Ling and his team from Singapore came up with a concept for the Greener Gadgets design competition to convert this heat into power for a wireless mouse.

Using induction charging technology, similar to some of the wireless charging solutions we have seen before, it also provides you with a mousepad.
