Massive Change: The Future of Global Design is an exhibition/tour project by Bruce Mau and the Institute without Boundaries. It opens in Chicago at the MCA on Saturday the 16th. It is an exploration of environmentally conscious ideas and how they influence the design of just about everything these days.
Some quotes from the promotional materials: "It's not about the world of design. It's about the design of the world." and "It is a celebration of the human capacity to change the world and a call to recognize both the power and responsibility of design". The exhibit sounds inspiring, interesting and we think checking it out may even make us feel more positive about the future.
In town through 12/31, the tour stop in Chicago encompasses all sorts of events and related programs. A symposium, performances, a local architecture exhibit and green living tour, even a trip to City Farm. Check out all the events here (scroll down for events list).
