Green Return: Organic Style Is Back

Well, sort of.

Former Organic Style readers might find this bit of news interesting: It looks as if Organic Style is coming back.

But, it might be a different sort of operation than most of us remember.

Next week, Organic Bouquet, a longtime eco-florist, will announce the "relaunch" of Organic Style as "a new eco-lifestyle destination for people seeking high quality products that uphold the well-being of the planet and humankind."

What exactly this new incarnation of Organic Style will offer remains to be seen. However, it does appear that there will be online content as well as online shopping.

The site isn't up and running yet, but you can sign up to receive a 2007 holiday catalog and newsletter. And Organic Bouquet (which will apparently merge its operations under the larger Organic Style banner) is still selling sustainable flowers at OrganicBouquet.com.

We'll definitely be watching this relaunch and will be sure to report back here on any noteworthy developments.

Ooh, yea! I was so sad to see them go, it was one of the most influential and inspiring (to make changes) magazines I read...I even kept my old issues.

I know it had a tough market, and an unknown niche to fill, but it was quality and it was green, which in my book, is huge.

Organic Style was my favorite magazine. I also kept my old issues. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it again although curious how different it will be. Maybe it will do better this time with an expanded base (what, with green being so popular now).

Just wanted to let you know that the new www.OrganicStyle.com went live this morning. This is the eco-shopping site but, in early 2008, they'll also be publishing an on-line magazine.
