92408_MPTables_800.jpgWe spotted these bright furnishings from the Pfeifer Studio and couldn't take our eyes off them. These simple beauties are made in New Mexico from locally-harvested pine, and then coated with a 100% natural finish. But best of all....

...the eco-friendliness doesn't stop there. These mutli-purpose tables/stools are dried in a solar-powered kiln and painted with VOC-free milk paint. According to the Pfeifer Studio site, the paint is made with the "same basic ingredients used during the Colonial era—milk protein, lime, and earthly pigments."

How great would these look in a breakfast area, or as side tables and extra seating in the living room?
