Designed by Leger Wanaselja Architects, this remodeled home overlooking grassy hills and oak forests at the edge of a state park was previously a "run-down, energy-guzzlig ranch house." But it was transformed into a durable, energy-efficient home complete with a roof rainwater collection system, photovoltaic panels, and over 6,000 board feet of salvaged wood that went into completing the fencing, siding, cabinetry, and flooring.
