Perhaps it's the start of fall, or because we're always trying to find a way to bring the outdoors inside, or maybe I'm just resigning myself to the fact that my husband will never get rid of his threadbare plaid "study" jacket. Whatever the reason, I've got lumberjacks on the mind.

I think this is spilling over from fashion. Lumberjack plaid and flannel has been quite popular en masse for the last 3-4 years.
Makes me long for the days when my handsome, bearded lumberjack would hold me in his strong arms.
Idea #9 is really fun but I think the wallpaper in #8 looks like it'd be better wrapping paper.
I cut down trees. I eat my lunch. I go to the lavat'ry. On Wednesdays I go shoppin', and have buttered scones for tea.
my man's got a big ol' beard and lots of thermals. this is perfect for us. but how much plaid is too much plaid?
I think the only two I would go near would be the plaid chaise and the fun plaid painted wall... Not entirely sure what I'd do with bright, fun axes (I live in NYC and I'm 98.3% certain I'd get arrested the minute I garnered one in public...)

Thank you, nohj. As soon as I saw the title of the post I started singing, "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok..." I'm so glad I'm not the only one. :-)
