This might be one of the most amazing small spaces we've ever seen. Gary Chang's 330 square-foot studio in Hong Kong, dubbed the "Domestic Transformer," makes use of an innovative sliding wall system and all sorts of compact, stowaway pieces of furniture and accessories to convert this (seemingly) one-room open-space studio into 24 different room set-ups. Mr. Chang shares the space with his parents, his younger sisters AND a tenant! Crazy! Jump below to see a floor plan and a video of the transformation:

The World's Greenest Homes has a video of the transformation here. You can also read more about the studio and see some amazing pictures in this New York Times article.

I want to live there!
Lovely for one person. Or two lovers.
But mom, dad, brother, sister and tenant? We need to work on population growth now. Scary.
That was amazing. I'd love to do the rooms in my house that way!
I saw this last year in a post somewhere and could never find the link. Thank goodness you all just posted about it! Incredible.
I believe he stated in the video that his family USED to all share the apartment (like many families in his city), but he decided to keep it after they moved on and transformed it from 3 tiny rooms into this space for himself.
