I love New York, but lately I've been a bit obsessed with the Pacific Northwest... and these photos of TreeHouse Point, a vacation lodge in Issaquah, Washington, are not helping the situation. Treehouse Point is the work of Pete Nelson, world renowned treehouse builder and author, and his wife Judy. Together they plan and host private events, celebrations and overnight retreats in the beautiful natural surroundings. Choose from either the main lodge with two suites and two overflow rooms, or stay in one of the two treehouses, or the deluxe cabin tent. Don't have to ask me twice!

Shhhhhh. Please quit telling people how awesome it is out here.
I second that. Visit yes, move, no. I have grown up in the NW and can now not afford to live where I grew up. Crazy. But, the treehouse, how amazing. I stayed in one up on Salt Spring Island years ago at a lovely hostel (now closed) and it was so much fun to be 30 feet in the air (until it was the middle of the night and you had to climb down to use the composting toilet). Magical. So much so that my friend and I got tree tattoos to memorialize that trip.
