Our dish collection is something we've never really loved -- leftover plates and bowls from college, mixed with a few odds and ends from IKEA. It's all totally functional though. But, we tend to lose pieces through the years. Why? Because we're clumsy.
When the last bowl has been broken, we might consider replacing our set with the Eco Collection from EcoLogic Products.
Thrifted dishes are probably the greenest way to go ... but for those who can't abide used dishes, dishes made from 100% natural plant fibers and earth-based resins are almost as good.
The Eco Collection is reasonably priced, simple, and actually biodegradable. After you've used the dishes for years, you could compost them back into the earth.
We're hoping for a few more color options ... but for now, we've got our eyes on the Mocha Dinner Plate Set ($38).
