LEE Industries has been making and upholstering furniture since the late '60s. In the '80s, they renovated their manufacturing process to eliminate ozone-depleting gases. Today, they've created naturalLEE, an entirely new eco-friendly upholstery system.
The naturalLEE package includes certified sustainable wood frames, water-based wood finishes; soy based cushions from Preserve®; recycled fiber filling in pillows; and organic and natural fabrics.
The new process can work with all of their upholstery collections. They also claim that the end result is so well-made, it will be a long time before the piece finds itself clogging up a landfill.
