It may look like it's a container for Nickelodeon Slime, but it's actually a Hepa Air Purifier. We've seen plenty on Apartment Therapy, but this one looks like it could really do some damage (against allergens, of course).
The lucky reviewers over at the Appliancist got their hands on the Alen Paralda HEPA Air Purifier and it packs quite a punch. They did note however, it's not meant for individuals with serious asthma or multiple chemical sensitivity.
The Alen Paralda HEPA Air Purifier offers top of the line filtration of airborne particles such as allergens, bacteria and viruses. It's equipped with an ozone safe ionizer, long lasting UV light and a true HEPA filter capable of removing 99.42% of dust, dust mites, pet dander, mold spores and pollen in rooms up to 400 ft². It comes with a four speed fan and a programmable timer that allows you to set three different run times.
It was mentioned that the purifier runs quietly at 32 dBA, but a bit noisy on the High with 60 dBA (we actually enjoy the hum of a purifier when we're sleeping). The purifier comes with a hidden cord wrap system, tap activation controls, easy access and removable of filters, ozone safe ionizer and UV light that can be turned on or off.
The Alen Paralda HEPA Air Purifier is being sold for $500.
