I love the way Christina describes the ambition of their project:
Build a greenhouse out of our antique window collection. (Yes- this really is the plan. I find that I often prefer to take the path of most resistance, and this is an excellent example.) John and my dad are going to build the skeleton of the greenhouse this week and then we're going to fill in the gaps with the 2 dozen + antique windows I've been collecting for the last year and a half. This is going to be a crazy (aka wretched) project and if it gets anywhere near completed this weekend, I'll eat my right shoe.
Well she hasn't eaten her shoe yet but the project is coming along beautifully. I can't wait to see the finished product!

I adore this!

Hi there! It's Christina, writing from After-Dinner Design... So excited to have been included on Re-Nest.
We actually made a load of head-way on our greenhouse this past weekend, so you can also check out our latest pictures here:

Thanks again!
truly guys you are an inspiration to many who have the dreams and do not possess the financial backing to make it possible. I have total respect and adoration for the way you work, respect each other's opinions on a project, the dedication and determination. Most of all, I am captivated by the fact that everything that you possess in for of love, friend, family, home, pet and skill is place out there to share with everyone. So it can serve as a pole of hope.
Haha someone loves their own project!
I LOVE this idea. Totally stealing it someday!!
I recently installed some antique windows myself, and when I realized I was missing hinges I was devestated, thinking I'd have to spend an arm and a leg to find hinges to match. I actually found them on lookintheattic.com. I love the look of antique windows
Oops! It's Christina again from After-Dinner Design. I must have forgotten to log-out when I posted my first comment, because that definitely wasn't me in the second comment. Yikes!
I should be more careful on other people's computers... Lesson learned! Thanks Heidi!
fantastic!
