It's well established that we're in design love with Greg Natale's work. With this inner city terrace house being only 4 meters wide and the owner no desire to change the layout, Greg Natale had his work cut out for him. Of course he succeeded and created a bright, light and impacting space. See more below the jump.
Running mirrors down the length of the house, the transparent balustrade on the stairs and large pendant lighting all make the terrace house seem brighter and wider. Just like his own kitchen, Greg installed mirrored kitchen cabinetry and the dining room table also has a mirrored top. Obviously glass cleaner is at the top of the owners shopping list but all those mirrors do have a huge impact on the house and make it seem much larger than it really is. Such interesting colors and patterns...
Open air bathroom w/sunken tub? I'm in lub.
Nice! Bright, white with just enough color to pop!
Does anyone know the source of the small sofa?
Love the photos, love the blog - I just wish you guys would invest in a copy editor. Impact is not a verb. It's just not.
Source of tulip lamp on the bedside table? Anyone?
Can anyone tell me the source and material of the kitchen flooring?
maryaleslie, I feel your pain. Impact-as-verb is like a pencil to the eye.
I love this place--especially the bathroom. The mirrored kitchen cabinets are lovely but suggest that whoever is lucky enough to own this apartment eats out a lot. Can you imagine the fingerprints and food smudges everywhere?
if that was my bathroom, i think i might accidentally stumble into the bathtub every hazy morning.
hi all from sydney
thanks for the positive comments about my place. Greg has done a great job at this little treasure in the middle of a busy city. Thought it might be useful to answer some of your questions.
the black sofa is a minotti sofa
the lamp by the bed is a louis polsen tulip light
the flooring in the bathroom, outdoors is silver travertine
the bathroom is one of the best spaces in the house. FYI i force myself to stumble into it every morning to enjoy it
thanks again for the comments
