Grey continues to be a hot in the nursery. We spotted this grey nursery in combination with soft pink - a throwback to the 80s but also fresh and modern.
The white background (carpet and walls) keeps the pink and grey color combination from being too cloying. It's a perfect dose of color. Oh, and we have to mention the paneling in the room. It's a great architectural feature for white walls. Want to see more? Run over to Haven and Home to check out the rest of this pink and grey nursery.

That nursery is absolutely gorgeous!
The library where I work has had, for the past 22 years, a vaguely pinkish-gray wall color. BOY are we sick of it! (This summer the majority of the walls were painted BM Sundial, a light golden yellow, with some aqua/light green accents, and one brick red wall. (This is a large space.)
Pink and gray might be a fresh look for most everybody, but to me it's very old!!!
I am anti-pink for most things, but this nursery really is lovely!
in America, it's GRAY. I like it.
There is nothing "80's" about this room, except a vague reminiscence about a color scheme... it's beautiful, soft and girly. I really love the calmness.
Could be a room for an adult as well. Lovely.
Actually slopegirl grey and gray are both correct in American usage of the English language, one of the only words that is spelled correctly with two different letters.
I love that the grey in this room is a dark/bold grey and that the pink is soft and muted. I also LOVE the wood paneling and ivory/white accents in the furniture, etc. I love that it's not too pink and not too grey, and I love the modern simplicity of it and the jenny lind crib.
This is a lovely feminine room to grow up in, well done!!
Gorgeous color combination. It's subtle but feminine. Very nice.
So sophisticated!
OH! This is such a beautiful room. Well done!
Really nice color combination. I love the subtle pink and dark gray. Anyone have a source for this chandelier? I love it!
Martina, the chandelier looks to me like Oly Studio. But you can find a much cheaper capiz shell chandelier elsewhere...maybe z Gallerie?
This is exactly my style! So beautiful. I'm not getting 80s from it at all though, it looks classic!
Thank you for the comments! The light fixture is from West Elm.
LOL @Slopegirl Get ready for this I spell "drafty" draughty and I'm from TEXAS.
I'm pregnant now and I think I'll use this as inspiration. It would look great with yellow or a nice saturated blue too I think.
