Grow Beans In A CD Case

Grow Beans In A CD Case

You must have at last a few of these CD cases around the house. Before you recycle, think about saving a few to repurpose for this fun project with kids we spotted over at Art Projects For Kids.

At first I thought it was some high-end designy terrarium. On closer inspection, I realized it's an empty CD case. Pop a few beans into wet soil and watch the beans take root. The CD case is a perfect host container - it's transparent, easy to carry, and free. For more details, check out Kathy Barbro over at Art Projects For Kids.
