Ben's paitnings are so intricate that he can only produce a certain number per year, and he's made these Growing Pains and Oma Bird prints available as a way to share his work with a wider audience at a more affordable price. Each edition of 50 is an archival inkjet print stretched over a 1" thick frame. The prints can be found at Exhibition A, a website that sells editions of work by contemporary artists. The small sizes sell for $200, while large goes for $300. Ben's style is truly unique and features nods to classical forms of painting with modern elements upon closer inspection. Hotbox Devolution, the show currently up at Half Gallery (208 Forsyth Street), has ten paintings that explore unusual connections between architectural elements and the natural world.
