They hardly seem like "big boys" at age 2 or 3, but that is generally the age when parents consider making tweaks and changes to nurseries to accomodate the evolving interests and needs of their child. Earlier, we looked at 10 of our favorite "big girl" rooms from the past year and here's their counterpart, 10 "big boy" rooms:
• Niko's Antique Toys Toddler Room
• Jeremiah's Nursery Grows Up
• Evan's Overseas Big Boy Room
• Malcolm's "Fit for a Gentleman" Room
• James' Little Explorer Room
• "Little Mr. Man's" Hand-Me-Down Room
• Steady Winds in Phillip's Sailor Room
• Gabe's Rustic Retreat
• Sky's Cozy Big Boy Room
• Green & Navy Big Boy Room

Shaw's Original Fir...
It's heart-breaking to look at all these kids rooms and think of the now vacant ones in CT. AT should do something to commemorate or at least acknowledge what's happened there. With a nation in mourning it hardly seems right to go on talking about how to decorate children's rooms.
Does anyone know the brand or style of the bed? It looks perfect!
Donkenzie, I truly appreciate the sentiment, it is heartbreaking to think of all those empty rooms. I am sure everyone at AT is just as saddened by recent events as all of us readers. But we all go on loving our children, and it's OK if that includes reading design blogs and decorating our kids' rooms.
dearmisha, I totally agree! I just meant that a post about it would be thoughtful.
In the top room (Niko's blue room)? The bed is a kura from IKEA.
