There's nothing more annoying than dropping your new Kindle in a puddle and having it zonk out on you. No need to worry anymore, because this case will protect your Kindle from any kind of water.
This case is made by M-Edge. It's called the Guardian and is made out of polycarbonate. If you were ever worried about getting your Kindle wet, you won't ever have to with this case.
The case itself makes your Kindle float. It's waterproof up to 3.3 feet, making sure that your baby is well protected no matter what. There is also a flexible material that covers the keys, so you will be able to use them as well. It's also perfect to use in the bath or hot tub. The case has a hinged lid which is sealed with gaskets to prevent water from getting in. The case will be available this spring and will come in a variety of colors.
We think that if there is a probability that you will expose your Kindle to water, in your bath, outdoors, or out in the wild blue yonder, it would be a good precaution to get something like this. Sure, we don't have one for our iPod, but Kindles are great to travel with and are most often out of your bag or pocket, meaning that there are more chances that it could get soaked.

The bigger problem is not the water damage, it's that once you drop your kindle, it's toast. I've dropped two and both had to be replaced.
I think the Kindle is indescribably hideous. How could they make something so basic so convoluted and ugly? Compare and contrast with the elegant Nook from Barnes & Noble:

What sunspot do you get paid to divert traffice to b&n ? It looks just like the kindle!
