Guari Nanda's Latest Offering Ticky Pays Tribute to Analog

After yet another morning where my love of the snooze button undermined plans for a productive day, the need for a new alarm clock became all too apparent. Since it seems like my muscle-memory for hitting the snooze button kicks in before I am awake enough to fight it, the idea of a clock designed to escape from me while still beeping is becoming ever more attractive. Thankfully, Guari Nanda understands the ugly lure of the snooze, and keeps offering new versions of a runaway alarm clock.

We have covered Clocky and Tocky before here on Unplggd, and continue to appreciate their fun and funky design. Nanda's latest offering Ticky has the same shape as its cousin Tocky, but features a touch-sensitive interface where you simply drag the minute and hour hands of the clock to set the time and the alarm. Ticky also has a built-in microphone to allow you to record customized wake-up messages. Though Ticky ($59) is only available in white, you can purchase silicone skin covers in a variety of colors (aqua, orange, kiwi, and black) to match your style.
