Even though designer iPad cases are quite expensive, sometimes a little bit of luxury is called for, maybe as a gift to the person you love, or just something nice for yourself. One thing is for sure, they're pretty unique and they set themselves apart. With this being said, we've put together our favorite and most recent iPad cases.
Since Gucci recently released an iPad case, it was only a matter of time before other designer companies followed suit. We're sure that many of them will offer somewhat luxurious cases pretty soon. While designer cases are really nice, especially if you are a fan of the brand, it's hard to justify spending between $200 and $310 on an iPad case.
Still, if these brands rock your boat, you'll probably enjoy these new cases. Of the two, between Gucci and Louis Vuitton, the Gucci case looks quite sturdy, while the Louis Vuitton is more iconic. These are basically like the previous offerings of Louis Vuitton for MacBooks and iPhone cases.
We think that spending your hard earned money on something luxurious, once in a while, might be worth it. However, with technology constantly evolving, you'll probably have to consider carefully if this is a necessary expense. Maybe next year, Apple will be offering a slightly larger iPad, and it won't fit in your expensive case. The iPad cases from Gucci and Louis Vuitton are available in a few different models.
Now stepping away from luxury, let's look at something really nifty, Moleskine and Moleskine-hacked iPad cases. This week, Moleskine released the Kindle Cover. Our guess is that it won't take long before this great type of case will be made available for the iPad. It's just a win-win situation, Moleskine and iPad! They'll probably cost the same, about $40 over at Amazon.
If you want the Moleskine effect but want it right away, then you're probably best off hacking your own. It's hard to put a Moleskine under the knife for a hack, but it isn't necessary for this great looking iPad case that we recently featured. Total cost? $20.
