For those who have been reading the comments lately, you might have seen the garage above pictured in one of our readers links. Click through the jump to see who this fabulous space belongs to...
On Monday we showed you the fantastic garage belonging to a Mid Century home in Prairie Villiage, Ks. As you might remember, it was the house with clear garage doors.
The owner tipped us off to what her garage usually looks like (when she isn't in the middle of a basement renovation!). It could be one of the best garages west of the Mississippi and just had to share it with you.
The garage was featured over at DIY Ideas from Better Homes and Gardens. Check out the rest of the photos from her well manicured garage here. You might suddenly feel the urge to spend next weekend in the garage tidying things up. Look for an upcoming home tour on this quaint Mid Century style home!
Thanks Amy for link, great job!

lovely!
and I hope this shuts up the clear garage door haters...I would love to look at this if i were their neighbor.
This is the house with the clear garage door? Well, no wonder they went for glass. This is so chic.
My mouth is shut. That is a glorious space!
I still want a house tour. Don't make me beg! ;)
I'm humbly silenced!
the chico's bag ruined it for me
I love the metal cabinets on the wall. They must be custom made.
what a great place!!
(rockalita, honestly. *rolling eyes* )
Molunat, if I'm not mistaken, the stainless cabinets, bench, and red stack are all off the floor products from Sears.
How lovely. One of my decorating goals is to drive my car into a beautifully organized garage. This is sweet.
I don't know, i still wouldn't want this readily seen or to see it...nor would i want to be on display while working in that space...but thats just me.
what's with everybody's weird garage cringes? it's almost like a phobia, i don't understand why all these people (mostly the comments on the other post with the clear doors) think that a garage should not be seen.
anyway, i would really like to see more garage interiors in the future. i love making things and listening to records and being outside, so to me a garage is the perfect space. you can have the large door open, making is easy to step outside for just a minute while you are working on a project, and you can play music and just hang out. a very laid back space, i think.
I can see why someone would have no qualms about showing off their garage if it looked this clean, but I still wouldn't want to do it myself.
Why tempt people to break into my house via garage, especially if I'm practically displaying my "wares"?
Ha, Rockalita, that popped out for me, too.
whoa--very nice, an inspiration to all passersby, I bet.
