As promised, I've been keeping tabs for you on when Ikea's cribs would be back on shelves. About three weeks ago an Ikea rep told me the Gulliver and Sundvik (white only for now) would be available "soon." When is "soon," I wondered? A reader-on-the-street report just came in to confirm that she purchased a Gulliver crib this past weekend.
Reader Thien lives in Minneapolis and was thrilled to stumble upon a Gulliver crib at her local Ikea over the weekend. (And we're thrilled that she wrote in with the news.) A note of caution: they don't appear to be in stock yet at every US location so check the stock report for your store before you go (using the "Buy at your local store" feature on each product page). At my closest store in Brooklyn, for example, the Gulliver white is the only one in stock. In Minneapolis, Gulliver birch and white are listed as in stock, but the Sundvik is not.
Hopefully these cribs (and other styles) will reach all stores soon. Let us know - are they at your local store yet?

We have the Somnat and I'd love to know why Ikea hasn't re-released that one. Is is unsafe?!

What about the SNIGLAR crib? It was in their 2012 magazine and I haven't seen it in my local store yet (Sunrise, FL). It's only $69 and the one I really want!
I just picked up a beech Sundvik in Portland, Or. Hooray! They also had the Gulliver, both cribs were available in beech and white.
@jbuesch, a beech Sundvik?? I've only seen it in white and black brown in the catalogs and only white on the website---just wanted to be sure I read that right, since that would be our dream crib!
Ikea in West Sac had a Gulliver on display as well. I actually did not like it as much up close and we had just bought a Storkcraft from Wal-Mart that I superlove.
The Ikea cribs are just way too short for me at 6' and the one we got is perfect.
Also, I'm sure they're just slowly bringing the cribs back. If they were unsafe I'm sure they'd announce it.
No cribs are in stock at the IKEA in New Haven, CT. :-(
Well, too late. Wal Mart already got my business instead. We went with a Baby Mod crib.
Ikea in Elizabeth, NJ has Gulliver in white and birch. There is no stock of Sundvik.
I'm in Vancouver BC and we've had Gulliver cribs for a while, as far as I know! We bought a birch one for our son a few months ago. We love it!

Oh no! @artoak it's the sniglar. I was mistaken by the title of this post. We have the Gulliver and Sniglar at our IKEA in Portland. No sundvik :-( I guess i need to brush up on my swedish product names!
