Have you ever wanted a mini-sized Mac? Well this might be the Mac for you. Actually, this isn't really a Mac, just a really nifty casemod. Modder Widefault decided not to wait for Mac to created or release a metal cased Mini, instead he just created his own. Usually, some of the smaller casemods look kind of cramped. This was is pretty sweet and it has the benefit of trying to look like its bigger brother, the Mac Pro.

The Hackintosh Jr. isn't big. It's just a tad bigger than a Mac Mini, especially in height. Widefault built the Hackintosh Jr. by hand-shaping mesh and sheet aluminum. You'll find an Intel Core Duo T2500 processor, 2GB of RAM, and integrated WiFi card and a 2.5" Seagate hard drive inside. We think that this is quite a good casemod. Using something like this to power the apps you need on your home theater system would be ideal. Manufacturers try to make these living room computers look good, but they don't always succeed.

The Hackintosh Jr. Is one cute machine. It's a nice looking casemod that makes us wish that Apple actually made a micro Mac Pro. Thankfully, a new Mac Mini will be released shortly, so for those of you who can't make your own case like this, you'll be able to get yourself that instead. [via Technabob, photos by Widefault]
