Angela and Samira of Swedish design studio Hjärta Smärta (Heart Pain) observed that the graphic design world was severely lacking in female role models. So they started Hall of Femmes, a blog dedicated to showing off female designers and art directors as role models within the industry.
The blog is full of interviews and articles (in Swedish only, unfortunately), but it's also packed with plenty of inspiring imagery. Visit it at Hall of Femmes. And see more from its creators, pictured at left, at Hjärta Smärta.

Wow, nice! I love the second to last image of the models on stools.
This is a great idea and all but it seems that the first page I visited has a large male presence. Steve Jobs, Richard Avedon, Eric Breitbart, etc. Maybe if it was in English it would explain what I am not understanding. I am probably wrong but this looks more like self promotion than a female AD Hall of Fame
funstraw - I think you are right, I took a gander at the blog and it's more of a PR/'regular design blog' related to their professional activities/taste/etc. One of the entries was titled "and god created the Swedish man"...
From the description of the blog, I'd say they aren't really following it strictly.
