Hallie Holtzman's Westwood Garden

Today's Los Angeles Times Home and Garden feature story is the garden of Hallie Holtzman in Westwood. It offers tons of inspiration, especially appropriate as we move forward with Outdoor Living month here at AT. Her garden is divided into three parts, a vegetable garden, a cutting garden, and a poolside garden that offers a peaceful retreat. More pics after the jump...

The garden you see now is an evolution of 10 years, and Hallie openly admits "I couldn't do this myself... it wouldn't look like this..." She has a team that puts in several hours a week to maintenance and she also volunteers at The Garden Conservancy where "she's met people whose ideas she finds invaluable." She also suggests that its "...important that you find people you can discuss the garden with you. I've developed a whole new world..." Click here to read the rest of the story and find more details. Don't forget to check out the rest of the pics at the slideshow too.
