We've been in the market for a hallway runner for sometime now and have been debating whether or not we want to stick to a sisal runner or pick something with a strong pattern or color. Our upstairs hallway is all white with a white pendant lamp and birch accents, so our choices are endless. Here are a few we've found that may be in the running. Jump below for links and prices:
- Crate and Barrel's Sisal Bouclé Runner, $79.95
- Crate and Barrel's Natural Sisal Runner, $79.95
- Ikea's Sigrid, $24.99
- Ikea's Hessum, $24.99
- West Elm's Seagrass Border Rug in Cinnabar, $59
- CB2's Sari Runner, $119.00 - $229.00
- Room and Board's Beads, $299
We'd love to read about your picks.

i just recently got this one at ikea:

it was $20, it's good quality, too. i really like the colors (gray!) and all i need now is a rug stopper... whatever those things are called...
I've had my eye on the sari runner for my entryway, but am hesitant to get something so delicate (silk!) for a high-traffic area. Does anyone know what it would be like to keep it clean?
Ooooh! I've been dying for this Sandy Chilewich woven "Plynyl" runner for my kitchen...

Too bad my new pup has a vinyl fetish.
Timely post! I'm on the hunt for a runner myself. I'm hoping for something colorful because the rug in the main room (which the hallway leads to) is seagrass. I am considering Dash & Albert's flamestitch rug, but it may be a little *too* colorful for my space.

I keep going back to Pottery Barn's faux bois rug -- it would sate my woodgrain addiction, for sure, but no color!

I was hoping Anthropologie would bring me something special but alas, their runner selection is pretty paltry.
I purchased this runner, also from ikea, for $14.99.
