Regular readers will know about our love for plumbing pipe shelves (as seen here, here and here), so of course I couldn't wait to share this amazing DIY industrial coat rack made with the same materials and tools. If you're short on closet space, want to spruce up your entry way or need retail or craft show hanging racks, this is a lovely and inexpensive solution.

Ryan E. Plett at [you_have_broken_the_internet] and his dad worked through the design of this coat rack using black steel pipe and reclaimed oak boards for the shoe/storage platform. The project cost only $71, which is a steal compared to flimsy coat racks available at big box retail stores.
