It's hard to choose, but my favorite of this bunch has to be the Liberty Architecture Jewelry stand in Photo 2. Most jewelry stands are made up of a series of hooks or branches. This architecture inspired one is uniquely beautiful.

$175 for a block of wood with holes in it seems excessive, if not ridiculous.
I am making a holder for my fountain pens using a block of walnut. Just drilling out and sanding the holes is taking a huge amount of time [would be less with a softer wood.] Once that is done I have to sand the whole piece and then apply wax. 175 may be a tad expensive for that piece but woodworking takes time.
