While we were cruising around Readymade (because it's normal to stalk your favorite magazine online as well as off... and um... Twitter as well) this super cute toy snow globe caught our attention. It was used at a wedding, but we think it would be cute party decor/favors!

You can check out more of the details from Jessica and Ben's Charleston, South Carolina wedding over at Readymade, it's just as fun as the idea above.

You can find inexpensive "off brand" toys at your local dollar store, or put some of the ones at the bottom of the toy box to use if you feel so inclined. If you've never made your own snow globe before, no worries, it's actually quite easy.

All you need is an empty jar, silicon glue, distilled water and a wee bit of glycerin. You can check out the step by step process from this quick and simple video.

Even if you don't have a party planned anytime soon, making one could still pass a few more winter days, that just seem to keep on coming this year!
