There's no denying my love for canning jars as storage around the home. They're practical, long lasting and hold almost anything you can think of, but I've never seen them displayed like this before!
Although this looks a little more industrial than your average canning jar display, I rather like the fact that they aren't taking up any precious countertop space. Canning jars are a great way to organize all those little odds and ends in your bathroom or craft room, but quite often I don't have as much space as I'd like in those areas. Saving a little room by hanging things on the wall is a great alternative.
Head over to Liz Marie to see how to put this idea to use in your own home. She has a full tutorial with step by step pictures. Best of all, it's an inexpensive project and there's a good chance you already have most the supplies on hand.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Love this! Pipe clamps are so handy. I could see this working in my art room/office.
So smart!
Wonderful!
Love it! *adds to to-do list*
I saw this on homepodge a week or so ago and fell in love with it! I'm already half way through making my own. It's really easy :)
More years ago than I care to remember, my dad showed me how to use jars of various sorts as storage on his workbench ... He made a wall shelf above the bench with shelves of lumber of perhaps 1"x6" deep. He then put two or three [depending on the weight of the jar and contents] ¾" round head screws through the lids, from the inside, mounting them on the underside of the boards.
It was easy to access the contents - even single-handed, since you did not have to hold the lid - by unscrewing the jar from its lid, and the contents were kept visible, clean, and dry when in their place.
I'd think you could do the same thing under kitchen cupboards, for example, with the same advantage of having the containers capped when not in use.
