We've had our own set of gripes regarding TVs hung above the fireplace - from the terrible viewing angles to the anti-zen attributes - but for some reason, we're kind of diggin' the idea of having the TV placed beside the fireplace instead.

About the furniture, from Trendir:

"Understanding that the modern lifestyle needs clean and contemporary while meeting the needs of modern technology, the new Pari & Dispari storage furniture range by Presotto accommodates all the unsightly living area clutter that accumulates. Now you can have it all – all the "stuff" and a clean, clutter-free look. These storage systems are modular, so you'll enjoy a custom fit in any room. The pieces feature a pure matte-white finish with colored glass doors finished in Stone Silver Shine. Behind the closed doors, you'll find your TV, ready to watch at a moment's notice; your stereo, CDs and DVDs and cables, books, magazines, glassware – all the comforts of home. These storage solutions also come as exposed systems, if you like to show off your collections."
